The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday confirmed the schedule of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, which will be staged in England and Wales from May 30 to July 14.
Hosts England and South Africa will compete in the tournament opener at The Oval on May 30 while Bangladesh will start their campaign taking on South Africa at the same venue on June 2.
Two of England’s most famous grounds, Old Trafford in Manchester and Edgbaston to stage the two semi-finals on July 9 and 11 respectively before the final at Lord’s, in St John’s Wood, London on July 14.
